What is a DJ + sax (or hybrid) act, and why is it so popular in Las Vegas?
It is an event DJ anchoring the sound with a live musician playing over the tracks — most often a saxophone, sometimes percussion or a small 2–4 piece ensemble. You get the versatility and seamless transitions of a DJ with the live energy guests feel in the room, which is why it is our most requested DJ configuration.
Is sound equipment included, or is it billed separately?
Sound is included — there is no separate AV markup. Every DJ and hybrid act arrives with a full PA appropriate to your guest count and room. For larger productions we can scale the system or integrate with an existing venue or AV setup, and we confirm the specifics in your proposal so there are no hidden fees.
Can the DJ also handle MCing and announcements?
Yes. Our DJs read the room and can handle MC duties — welcomes, introductions, and timed announcements — coordinated with your event timeline and stage manager. If you prefer a dedicated emcee or host instead, we can add one from our event-staffing roster so the music and the microphone are both covered.
